The history of Florent Grau (GAF) is elegantly told with illustrations, in the article by Bob Schreiber in Stereo World volume 32, #6, May/June 2007. I don't intend to reproduce any of that here as it is readily available from the NSA on disc. Suffice to say that there are some superb tissues on this page and that they were produced between 1855 and 1864. They don't all photograph well and backlit images are for guidance only. Many are in as-new condition; I will mention damage, foxing or any other problems. A few other GAF views might appear in the French pages. Enjoy!
